FSM : Kendji Girac - Andalouse

Bonjour!

This week I decided to post a song that gets stuck in your head really easily ! Maybe not the first time, but try to listen to it a few times and you'll see...

Plus, he's quite good looking so... no time wasted if you click on play!

Kendji Girac a 18 ans.

Baila, baila oh!
[Chorus]
Toi ma belle Espagnole, quand tu bouges tes épaules

Baila, baila oh!

 [Chorus]

Oh yé yé yé oh oh
Oh yé yé yé oh
Oh yé yé yé oh oh (Ma belle Andalouse)
Oh yé yé yé oh (Un, dos, tres, baila)

[Chorus x2]
Here is one of his most famous songs. There are bits of Spanish here and there and you can clearly hear the Spanish influence in his songs!
Hope you enjoyed this week's song !

FSM : Louane - JOUR 1

Bonjour :)

I had to ask my friends back in France to know what French songs were popular those days! I'm not up to date anymore now!

Anyway, here is the song by Louane, a young French singer, who sings about love and teenagers and stuff.

Here is one of her most famous songs! Please check it and listen if you can spot some words you know! She sings rather slowly here so it should be easy!

See you next week!

Kasper, der Bandit und die Million

Children from our primary feeder schools were treated to a German Kaspertheater. Courtesy of the Goethe Institute, 18 classes of German learners from years 3 to 6 were invited to watch the Punch and Judy style show at Lakeside primary school. The hero Kasper and his friend Gretel visit grandmother in London only to find her kidnapped by Bandit B! Only with the help of his enthusiastic audience can he get his hands on the million pound ransom.

Here are some comments by the children:
"I found it wunderbar! It was also really funny!" James

"I like it when they went on the Max Factor." Aran

"I found the show very funny and it made me giggle. I enjoyed the part where we got to sing the songs." Megan

"I loved the puppet show because there were some unexpected scenes and the audience could join in! Danke schön Goethe Institute!" Hassan

"It was the most amazing experience. I have learnt a lot of new German words. Also it was a little bit weird." Harriet

"I thought it would be rubbish, but it was really good and I would love to see it again!" Jessica

"It was amazing! I laughed my head off. The bit when he grabs her made me jump! A lot better than any other puppet show! Thanks for an amazing time." Ella

"I thought it was fun and interesting. I had no trouble understanding the German" Isobel

"I think the puppet show was FANTASTISCH! Anyone who enjoys German and likes to join in with fun activities, this is the perfect show for you! Very funny and entertaining." Hannah

"Kasper was a very interactive and fun show to watch. Kasper, der Bandit und die Million is definitely a 5 star show" Lara

"Your play was...WUNDERBAR! I liked it and it helped me learn more German! Danke!"  Mide

FSM : COEUR DE PIRATE

Hello! Sorry for the late update

I hope you had a great half-term!

Here's the game : if you ever understand what she says, let me know!
It shows that you don't need to understand lyrics to enjoy a song :)

FSM : Superbus - Radio Song

Hello everyone

I've decided to post another song from when I was young!
Superbus was a very popular pop, rock, power pop (whatever that means) band, with ska influence.

The songs are really addictive!

Mon obsession me hante,
Me rendre à l'évidence,

We are we are on the radio now, the radio now !

We are we are on the radio now, the radio now !

We are we are on the radio now, the radio now !

Here is another song! It's quite simple but it'll make you happy, I promise.

Enjoy!
