After a quiet journey to Folkestone, they all struck a pose for a group photo before getting on the Shuttle train through the Channel tunnel.
Once in France, nerves started to hit a little as they awaited the arrival of their partners but after an awkward moment and a kiss or two, everyone left for their new homes, seemingly more reassured.
Tomorrow will include an account of our first visit of Lille and one of its numerous markets.
