French Exchange Day 3: lesson time!

Today, students were given the opportunity to attend lessons in the French school. There was a general feeling that the school day is too long in France, lessons are not interactive enough compared to Tomlinscote but students were also pleased to realise that, on occasions, they were able to follow parts of what was going on thanks to non-verbal clues (symbols in Maths, tunes in Music lessons, etc.), or simply thanks to their subject knowledge in Spanish.

There were also opportunities to converse and assist staff in English lessons, which was particularly enjoyable.

After a hard day's labour the French and Tomlinscote students enjoyed Miss Streeter's photography exhibition which is currently being displayed in the school. The French teachers were also very impressed with the quality of images.

A demain.
