HSBC/British Council Mandarin Speaking Competition 2015

Grace Cubin in Year 9 represented Tomlinscote school in this year’s Southern Regional Heat of the HSBC/BC Mandarin Chinese Speaking Competition, which took place on 4th December 2015 at the British Council.

Grace was asked to prepare a two minute presentation in Mandarin on a topic from the curriculum, e.g family and friends, school, home and pets, leisure time, festivals, etc. The judges then asked her two questions in Mandarin relating to her presentation and to translate three sentences from Mandarin into English.

Well done Grace!

FSM Marina Kaye - Homeless

Bonjour!
I've posted a lot of french artists singing in French... but there are also plenty of artists singing in English! And I thought it could be interesting for you to know some, other than Daft Punk!

Marina Kaye est une chanteuse française très jeune. Elle a 17 ans. Elle a une très belle voix. Cette chanson passe beaucoup à la radio.

J'espère que ça vous plait!
A bientôt!
