Tomlinscote teachers running the London Marathon

Mr Daniel, our very own head of the MFL department, is going to run the London marathon this weekend in support of the children's hospice charity Shooting Star CHASE. After several months of gruelling training (and so much weight loss his clothes hardly fit anymore), Monsieur Daniel will tackle more than 26 miles this Sunday, together with Tomlinscote's Mr Regan and Ms Barnes. We are grateful to their commitment and wish them the best of luck in the race.

If you want to support them by a donation, please click on the picture and give generously!

Merci beaucoup! Vielen Dank! Muchas Gracias!

Support Tomlinscote Climbers!

Ten of our Tomlinscote staff are endeavoring to climb three peaks in 24 hours in order to raise money for the charity Cancer Research UK.

During half-term, they will ascend on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - all in one day!

The wonderful people are: Mr Bacon, Ms Barnes, Ms Ealey, Ms Holledge, Mr Major, Mr McKay, Mr Regan, Mr Schofield and Ms Towler, as well as our very own German language assistant Ms Karoline Schmied.

Do show them your support around school, and please (get your parents to) give generously for their very worthy cause via this website:  http://www.justgiving.com/tomlinscote3peaks

Good luck to them and  Thank you! Danke! Gracias! Merci! for your support!

French charity song

A number of French singers got together to sing this very catchy tune. They are hoping that the public will enjoy it, download it and all the benefits will be given to Unicef charity organisation to support children who live in the Horn of Africa.

So, if you like the song, download it (legally!!!); it's for a good cause.
