Year 7 French & German trips

Good evening.

The Year 7 French trip students are due back at 9.30pm as originally planned.

The Year 7 German trip students are due back just after 9.30pm.

Please park with consideration for the fact that several coaches will need to manoeuvre and stop to offload students and luggage. Many thanks.

French Trip

Bonsoir,
Students had an exciting day exploring Amboise. This involved walking around the beautiful town, exploring Leonardo da Vinci's house (including the gardens) and a guided tour of the château.

Apologies; due to the weak internet connection we are unable to share photos today. We are sure students will share their photos with you when they get home.

Year 7 German trip - Day 4

Students are back at the hostel after a fun day at Phantasialand.

We would like to reassure all families that the incident that took place in a German cinema today was in Viernheim, more than 100 miles away from our school party.

Year 7 German trip days 2 and 3

 

During days 2 and 3, students had the opportunity to visit the Haribo factory sale, explore the city centre, enjoy a river cruise to Königswinter, use the railway to travel up the mountain, play football on a nearby pitch in the evening, visit a school (that looks incredibly like Hogwarts!) and sample some of the local food like Wiener Schnitzel. Very busy days!





French Trip Day 2 and 3

Bonjour, 

Students have thoroughly enjoyed Futuroscope, dancing with robots was a highlight along with many other 4D experiences. In the evening we were captivated by the laser light show which included a game show at the beginning, laser lights, fireworks and a beautiful storyline. 

Today started with the traditional crossaint breakfast followed by our excursion to La Rochelle. The sun came out to greet us as we walked around the harbour. The aquarium was 'fascinating, showing us different types of fish and sharks. The mini cinema showed us what fish eat, and what to expect as we walk around the aquarium.'

Year 7 German trip

With our new German friends. We had a lovely time at the school and some will stay in touch. We then went into town.

Year 7 French trip.

We have arrived safely and had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. Excitement is building for our day at the Futuroscope park tomorrow!

Year 7 trip to Germany

We have arrived safely at the youth hostel in Bonn, and our students are enjoying themselves.
Unfortunately we are unable to upload photos at present.  All are looking forward to the activities tomorrow.
